« Cozy Winter Wedding » is the charm of a different kind of wedding through the images of an inspiration shoot. As the name suggests, I take you to experience a winter wedding in the heart of Zermatt.

First of all, it must be said that Zermatt is a true winter tale of endless pleasures. A distinguished and luxurious ski resort where Swiss families like to meet every year during the winter. Lovers like to propose to each other there. We didn’t actually go all the way to Zermatt, but you could be mistaken. It was actually at the Garden Centre Schiliger that this wedding inspiration took place. A peaceful and timeless environment allowed us to experience a moment of sharing for all the providers and happiness for our couple on the day.

Every year at this time, the Garden Center brings the Christmas spirit to life, creating a magical atmosphere. This year they chose to miniaturise Zermatt. So we are instantly transported into the long winter evenings: Mountain atmosphere and wooden chalets. It is in this spirit that the whole team has mobilised to create photos that pay tribute to the work of the garden centre. Accompanied by Mehdi, my fellow videographer, I join the rest of the team. Excitement.

It is in Burgundy & in good mood for a « day after » at the mountain where I met Natalie & Florian. A young, sporty, and full of humanity couple with whom I spent a beautiful afternoon at the top of the ski area of Siviez, a small resort close to Nendaz on the area of the 4 valleys for a short walk in the conifers.

But what is a « day after »? It can also be called an after wedding session, in French « une séance photo après le mariage ». It means that we choose a place other than the one where we are married, another season possibly, a different atmosphere and even the dress style can be diverse. A wedding dress does not necessarily confine you to the only effect of immaculate whiteness! To the rock n roll attitude for example!!!

Stop talking, let’s go to the photos of Natalie & Florian, who live in Valais and who have put on leather jackets and after-skis for this unforgettable session, a little reminder of their wedding but in the middle of winter! It is the floral workshop Les Herbes Folles in Bramois that made this beautiful bouquet in Burgundy (Bordeaux for the uninitiated) with anemones and eucalyptus! A pure miracle…

It is traditionally said that the budget for your wedding photographer is 12% of your overall envelope. When we look at the national averages, the average budget for a wedding in France is €26,000 while in Switzerland it is 35,000chf. It will therefore take approximately €3120 and 4200chf respectively for your wedding photographer position.
I’m not here to tell you that it’s good or bad if your marriage has an estimate below or above the average. I don’t think that’s a judgment call. Everybody sees where their priorities are and does it according to their wallet.

t’s always helpful, that this leads me to talk to you about other things: the content of the packages. It’s hard to compare the incomparable. And I’m not going to do it … I thought it was important to tell you to pay attention to certain criteria that will be different among all the packages that you will see such as the number of photos, the time taken, the handling of trips, the presence of an album or not – I’m not even talking about the quality, the size and the number of pages – or the quality of the photos rendered – are they retouched? All of it? Part of it? -.
Some photographers will not propose some of the packages they offer you. Others, like me, will offer you the possibility of a tailor-made quote. Everyone has their proper recipe. The whole thing is that the result pleases you! It’s up to you to find the right ingredients!!!

When I entered Michèle’s store located in Bulle, in June-July. I suddenly felt a connection that’s it was created between our two world. Michèle admitted that she wanted to work with future bridegroom. Furthermore, she wants to show to engaged couples, the several choices that can be offered to them. To hell with the beaten path, ivy, and aromas! On this point, dear future brides, Michele reveals unexplored lands to you with great reinforcement of magnificent bouquets and refined decorations. Therefore, one idea led to another, and in order to highlight his work, it was decided to organize an inspiration session in a place that will transport you directly to Tuscany – well, not quite: Cret-Bérard dominates Vevey, close to the village Puidoux (Riviera Vaudoise, Switzerland). « 4 inspirations au Crêt-Bérard » is the adventure of a team in the heart of a peaceful and friendly residence.

The inspiration «Graphic beige»

The room is light that shines through the tall and curved windows. The golden candles crown the table on which the ears of the wheat stand. The linen-coloured center of the table brings sweetness. In addition, the roundness of the lenses counterbalances the vertical lines creating an elegant and aerial graphic. In short, the combination of beige and thorns gives rise to decoration with organized and natural lines.

« Nicéphore My Love », that’s a nice title, isn’t it? Nicéphore is simply the name of this trailer. A beautiful trailer that was lovingly restored. It’s also a mobile photobooth!

Do you know what a nicéphore is? It’s one of the very first methods invented to capture light and create a photography! You can find a lot of interesting information about its creator Joseph Nicéphore Niepce and the history of photography on Wikipedia.

That’s it for the little history and culture part. How about I tell you a little bit more about this lovely trailer? Elodie Roal-Raynaud and her sweetheart decided to restore this old trailer from floor to ceiling and the doors to create an innovative concept, full of charm, that would bring a fresh touch to the world of weddings. A trailer that could be used as a photobooth during weddings! How cool is that???? Personally, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it at A&J’s wedding! I almost left with it, but Elodie and Matt don’t know that!

The decoration of the trailer adapts to your style and the theme of your wedding. Yes, you read that right! You and your guests can spend hours dressing up and taking pictures, then go out for a drink, come back to take more pictures and follow up with a souvenir video that the bride and groom will remember for a long time!
