MARION & XAVIER COUNTRY WEDDING
Marion and Xavier met at a Swiss folk music festival three years earlier. There, is love at first sight and they never leave each other again. And in a few moments, they will meet in front of family and friends to seal their union at a secular meeting and fun rituals… But before that, there are preparations!
The preparations
On one side the future groom and his witnesses put on their beautiful matching bow ties as well as their costume. The color code is required: shades of blue and a touch of good mood. Smiles on each lip and sophisticated right down to the fingertips, it’s a real pleasure to photograph these gentlemen. But these ladies are not left behind !
I also had the opportunity to participate in Marion’s preparations. Between the elegant jewels, the hairstyle elaborated with fresh flowers, and the natural makeup, our bride is ravishing. Her Pronovia’s dress, purchased at O’Scarlett in Annecy, highlights her long curves while the lace runs along her back. The wedding rings are in their letterbox. They patiently wait to take part in the story to write a new page of happiness.
The secular ceremony organised by witnesses and family
Marion and Xavier chose the Lignon’s farm to organise their ceremony and reception. A country decoration, bale of straw, and a floral arch crowned the two lovers of the day. The sweet testimonies of their loved ones and friends bring emotion to this already touchy moment.
The sand ritual is a must for our two married couple. Do you know the double meaning of this one? Its primary meaning is: union. Once your sands are poured into the common vessel, impossible to separate them, they are bound for life just like the two newlyweds.
The second signification is respect for the uniqueness of each young married couple. Each sand has been chosen for its colour and represents a personality, even mixed, the sand retains its original colour. All this to say that even married, we keep its peculiarities within the couple. Thus Marion and Xavier are united for life, they form a couple but remain themselves. And that’s how their family and friends love them!
And to refresh themselves, what better than the ritual of the union cocktail? Shaker and bubbles are in place and seal the end of the ceremony on an epicurean and festive touch.
The photos of the couple
A moment of softness is present for our two newlyweds. Smiles between them, good mood, and sweet kisses punctuate this quiet parenthesis in the tumult of a wedding day.
The reception
The wedding hall was decorated according to the simple but refined theme of the countryside. White, green, and wood are the main components of a handmade decoration. The surprises from friends and family give rise to bursts of laughter and then comes the breathtaking ball opening! The witnesses and the bride and groom engage in a real show worthy of professionals! And then the whole assembly joins Marion and Xavier for a wild dance.
