An incredible family

In autumn, in the middle of the forest of Bouleyres (in Bulle), I meet an incredible family, I named them the tribe Rolle: Florence, Valentin, and Eline. Update, the baby in Florence’s belly is called Armand and he is as beautiful as his big sister!

A forest adorned with shimmering colours

I live in Bulle and there is not a week that I do not go for a walk in the nearby forests. And every season, the trees offer my eye a choice of different shades but always inspiring colours. In October, as the sap descends towards the trunk and roots, the leaves have a rusty shimmering tint. This warm atmosphere, I find it in the values of the Rolle family but also in their small gestures and smiles.

A united family

I photographed only a few families, and that’s a shame! We should all keep a memory of those moments to immerse ourselves in nostalgia for the good years. Florence, the belly rounded by a nice surprise to come, is so natural smiling face. She embodies calm and Valentin the sweetness while he incubates his family with a protective look. And what about their little Eline? So lovely smiling face! All three (and a half) form a happy family and this shared moment is magical in the middle of this enchanting forest. Florence lives her maternity with such joy that she transmits it to all my photos. Don’t you think?
